The Shawshank Redemption is a movie released in 1994, Frank
Darabont is the director and starring Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman. The main
character Andy Dufresne played by Tim Robbins is a banker was sentenced to life
for the murder of wife and her lover. As a former banker the warden used Andy
in a money laundering activities. Andy befriends Ellis “Red” Redding (Morgan
Freeman) who is the prison’s contraband smuggler.
The whole premise of the movie is that there is always a
light at the end of the tunnel because Andy knew he was innocent and for 17
years he dug a tunnel the lead to the prison’s sewage system and onto freedom.
